blogs

i admit it, i'm a little nosy. reading other people's blogs have been my forte long before i started my own. i would bookmark my favorite blogs and visit them everyday to see if they wrote something new, i'm embarrassed to say that it was borderline stalking. i would have my tons of tabs on the screen filled with blogs waiting to be read...now, i won't ever have to visit the bookmark tab ever again!

i'm still fairly new to the blogging community and haven't gotten accustomed to all of the tricks, trades and tools yet, so when i was reading (more like stalking, cause it's my fav!) My Paper Crane's blog titled Artful Blogging, i was confused when she mentioned a blog reader. after reading all of the blogs listed in my bookmark today, i decided something needs to be done and googled the word "blog reader." boy was i glad! it turns out since i have a blogger account, i can log in to google and set up a subscription to any blogs i love by clicking on the RSS feed (which i still don't know what it stands for...probably should do a little more research). now whenever any of my subscriptions write a new blog, i'll know and all i have to do is visit one page. yay! i even found out other people can subscribe to mine...hmm...i'm nervous...all i have to say is that i love technology, even if i'm a little slow at it.
