Let's Catch Up!!!

this past weekend was crazy!
  • i had my hands full watching three kids on Friday, but it was so oh-so much fun getting Big C to try sushi for the first time and doing arts and crafts.
  • Saturday, we went up to DC to see Paramore and Jimmy Eat World with the Beebs...ending the night with a trip to Adam's Morgan
  • sleeping in on Sunday (cause we didn't come home till 4:30 in the morning) and going to see "Baby Mama" was fun too! i even managed to finish a pretty complicated (to me) mini purse for Teen's birthday somewhere in between all this craziness!
...so let us play catch up...with pictures! shall we?Big C's best friend came to visit and we went to Kazu to try some sushi!...she loved it!

the girls teaching Little C how to make a wish and blow on a dandelion

at the American University Bender Arena...ps - i heart this band!

we were a little late arriving, so we missed a bit of Paramore's set...boo

towards the end of the set, the sound tech was waving this mannequin's leg around...never got to figure out why though

Jimmy Eat World...love the logo

they played "Sweetness" and i was satisfied

at Madam's Organ in Adam's Morgan with the Beebs...this place was kind of sketchy at first, but definitely grew on us

the biggest piece of pizza i've ever seen (we were actually told by our cabby not to eat it at the end of the night)...and green glow was not from the pizza, but from the neon sign

this guy really loved the pizza, it was definitely worth the money

i love this hounds tooth print...

it has 2 compartments, a slot for pens, a place for id and a credit card, a sunglass holder, and a strap!

"Baby Mama" turned out to be a pretty good movie. of course most of the funny parts were from the previews, but there were others sprinkled in here and there. it had a rather good ending and a pretty good story line to it, so if you get a chance, go check it out!
