Happy Birthday to you!

yesterday J turned 24. his parents took us out to Red Robin for dinner so he could get his free burger and a sunday. (they send you a coupon if you join their club, J was more than delighted cause he loved their burgers) of course, i obliged because they have this bottomless strawberry lemonade that is gosh darn delish! ...oh! i tried the Royal Red Robin burger, a burger with swiss and a sunny side up egg on top! i know there are other variations of this so called burger else where, but this was the first time i had it and i swear i'm not going back to the regular burger. it was like i was in burger heaven...or if you don't like burgers, heart attack heaven.

the waiters sang to J and gave him balloons and it was the highlight of the dinner cause he was so embarrassed. it was funny because he had told the manager and our waiter not to sing, but his mom and i convinced them too anyway. i made him sit with his balloons in front of the restaurant for a little photo op and embarrassed him even more...

we also took a trip up to Frederick for a little bar crawl for the night. a couple of good friends joined us and we had a really great time. (by the way, we played it really safe by taking cabs and renting a hotel room. don't drink and drive folks!)

anywho, gotta go! J is making brownies and it's not to be missed (first time!). i have to go laugh at him at now because it's his first time. tootles!
