walking the canal

i love beautiful weather! i mean, who doesn't? yesterday we took remy for a nice little walk down the C & O canal in Williamsport with my cousin Mick, her friends, and Leo the pitbull. the aqueduct

i took the higher path

i think we walked about a mile down the trail and found a little path that takes you down some steps to a little dock leading into the water. Mick's friend was brave enough to get into the water and so we had a little photo shoot with him.

while taking a picture, a dragonfly landed on my knee. good thing i was quick with my camera this time!

Remy had a great time at the river with Leo (although all he wanted to do was hump her). she jumped into the river all by herself and got so dirty, her coat looked brown! i love days like these. did you have a good day?
