ok, time to go back to sewing. i am planning on taking a break later in the afternoon to try out a new shortbread cookie recipe i saw on the post. i'm hoping to take them to an early family Christmas gather later today. why celebrate early you ask? that's because my cousin who is serving in Afghanistan is home, but he is leaving to go back on Christmas Eve. tonight we are having a family dinner and exchanging gifts with him. it's going to be fun and i am really looking forward to it!
