two things i'm really excited for...

# 1. my mama comes home is less than 15 hours. some how, they missed their flight last night (this morning in US time) and were on standby till the next morning (tonight). she said that United only flies out in the morning, but the tickets were booked to leave at night. i don't really know. she called this morning while i was at work and i got to talk to the whole family in 5 minutes. my dad called me later this evening to let me know that they left Thailand alright...i have to admit, this little dilemma has allowed me to speak to him more during the past 24 hours than in the past year. long story folks, but a good thing i guess...I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MY MOM SOON!

which brings me to the next thing...

when i got the news from my mom this morning, i was worried she wouldn't make it to my very first art show. well, not my own show, but you know what i mean. i've mentioned this before but here's the officially invitation to come on down and check it out...if you're in town of course.
