our sewing line will now be a circle...ok, a triangle!

my girl friend Meg got her first sewing machine yesterday, so now Lacey and i can have our sewing circles again. woo! we got right down to business and i taught her how to make a very simple pillowcase.

we picked out this fabric together when she met me at Joann's...i needed help picking out fabric to make curtains with (the lower part of our apartment feels like a freezer!).

i didn't get a photo of the finished product, but it turned out really nice (it even matched her walls!). she's my little protege. i wonder what she'll make next?
