what's inside that little acorn?

you know what? i had no idea what was inside an acorn. i mean, i guess i knew that it was some sort of nut...hence the reason why squirrels go bats over them...but i didn't know what they looked like. so my buddy and i found some while watching construction (our favorite past time) and cracked them open...to make it easier for our furry little friends...um, and for our amusement.
