Everybody is Irish today.

Happy St. Patrick's day everyone! i, for one, am no where near being Irish, but today has always been a day where i feel like i could at least pretend; wearing green, eating green, drinking green, and maybe trying to speak with an Irish accent...by the way, Martha Stewart is on Conan O'Brian tonight. it's quite perfect cause i love Martha and J loves Conan....but that's besides the point.

anywho. while nannying (cause that's my job), i took the kiddies to the local bakery (in She-town) and stopped for a little snack. Ms. C enjoyed herself a glazed donut, baby C loved the moist & delish Lemon-poppy-seed muffin, and i tried the Irish cream coffee with chocolate & espresso. yummy on all three accounts.Ms. C managed to pinch everything, including our snacks, that wasn't green. (whew! good thing i had some green on my shirt...i totally forgot!). kids are always so entertaining. they really do say the darnest things. she said that she could only pinch people who were in her family, and family meant food, her brother's stroller, my coffee cup, etc. i think that as long as i keep working with kids i'll always be young at heart.

after work we stopped at Barefoot Bernie's to visit my cousin Mick who was working late. it was certainly interesting to say the least. it reminded me of why i don't go out anymore, people get crazy! i'm really glad that Maryland finally banned smoking inside restaurants and bars though. it's good to be able to breathe.
Mick made sure i had my fair share of green and ordered me a nice cold one. Thanks lady! anyway, we didn't stay very long cause Remy was home all by herself and we were both getting pretty tired. Tuesdays for J are stressful because he gets to tattoo his friends and wants to make sure he gets enough rest so he can focus extra hard.

it has been a wonderful St. Patti's day. and as for everyone, be safe out there on the road...and don't get too crazy folks!
