it rained sideways

as if setting up a 10 x 10 tent in the house was a bad omen (like opening an umbrella indoors) Lacey and i were ultimately defeated by the rain (and other bumps on the road) on saturday. yep, you heard right, we never got to set up our booth at Downtown Live. (it rained cats and dogs for the most part of the day!) i was devastated, while Lacey kept her cool and looked on the bright side...things could have definitely gotten waterlogged or ruined. now what? you might ask. we will move on. i have a ton of things to update the shop with and we might try another event...as soon as we find one. so keep an eye out for us world!
