Memorial Day

first off, I'd like to thank everyone who's made this day (or weekend) possible...like my Gramps, uncle, and cousin (who just came home from Afghanistan).

i didn't really get to properly celebrate with cook outs and family time since i had to work all weekend, but i did have today off (1st day off in a week! woo hoo!). and if you want to know what i do on my day off (which you probably don't), i'll tell ya. woke up this morning and had a laundry date with my co-worker/friend, played Mario Kart on the Wii, edit some photos, made enchiladas, and went to the carnival and played bingo! that's right, we had a girl's night at the carnival playing bingo, and "i got it!" -- it's my favorite game. ever! we ate fries and funnel cakes and took a few photographs as well. i'll share them in a couple of days.

i hope you all had a good weekend or day as well!

ps - i got my hair did last week!
